The ELITE TRAVELER Itinerary is adapted to special interests, local events, and seasonal weather conditions

Day 1 Arrive Bucharest and drive 2 hrs to Inn on Balaban See (Bran)
Day 2 Meet Sorin Apan in Brasov and visit his unique school for traditional arts
Day 3 Depart for Sibiu and meet with specialists of the ASTRA Museum and its internationally famous village museum. Dinner with museum staff and night as Casa Luxemburg See.
Day 4-5 Travel to Sighisoara and meet Living Treasure craftspeople in their villages of communities:

'Living Treasures'. Romania is one of five countries to have created a UNESCO initiated Living Human Treasures program. Coordinated by the ASTRA Museum of Ethnography in Sibiu/Hermannstadt, 220 individuals have been designated Living Treasures (see more). High school professor, Sorin Apan (photo top right), is recognized as a national specialist on the symbolic meaning of costume designs. Mrs. Silvia Tecoanta is acknowledged as a master of her craft in wollen cloth weaving and sewing. Other examples: more.

Located throughout Romania, the designated Living Treasures live and work in their traditional environments. Guests on the Elite Traveler Tour will visit them in their homes and workshops.
