Day 1 Arrive Bucharest and drive 2 hrs to Inn on Balaban See
Day 2 Calm morning; encounter Romania's Axis Mundi in the Bucegi Mountain Range; meet ancient folklore experts that night at Inn on Balaban or Bella Muzica (see)
Day 3 Travel to Sighisoara and Vlad Sepes (Dracul) birthplace and then to Sibiu; stay at the Casa Luxemburg See
Day 4 Meet experts on Saxon origins and the Pied Piper behind those 13th century migrations. Stay at Casa Cu Cerb See
Day 5
Visit Saxon fortified churches and meet local personalities. Stay at Transylvanian Castle.
Day 6
Option one - Travel north to Maramures region and to village of Happy Cemetery.
Option two - Travel to Black Sea coast and site of the Biblical Flood studied by Robert Ballard and others. Stay at Enisala Safari Village Inn See on fringes of Danube Delta.
Day 7 Return by air to Bucharest and stay at Athenee Palace See
